Mom and the Repairman

Mom: So I have to pay $50 per year to keep the warranty? They didn’t tell me that and it’s not in any of the paperwork.

Repairman: Then you didn’t read it.

Mom: I did read it, and so did two other people. It’s not there, and this crap isn’t working.

Repairman: Why don’t you ask your president to help you if you need the money, you know, like Cash for Clunkers?

Mom: Why should I go ask our president to help me? Help me with what? I don’t take handouts from people. Whatever I have, I work for it. I was brought up to believe that anything I have, I have to work for it, or I’ll go without. And right now, I’ll go without your waterproofing system and your attitude. Thank you very much, good-bye.
